Station was opened on 10.09.1988 by Sub Inspector Joseph.D&rsquosilva ,CI of Police(I/C),Kollam west as per G.O. Rt.No.45174/88/Home dtd 01.09.1988.The Station is functioned in a rented building No.QMC XXII/9 in Survey No.7381/AB of Valiyakada Cherry, Kollam West Village, Kollam Taluk, owned by the harbour department.
