“Traffic Club” ലൂടെ വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥികള്‍ക്കും റോഡ് സുരക്ഷാ ബോധവല്‍ക്കരണവും പരിശീലനവും നല്‍കുതിനും അവരിലൂടെ പൊതുജനങ്ങള്‍ക്കും രക്ഷകര്‍ത്താക്കള്‍ക്കും റോഡ് സുരക്ഷാ പാഠങ്ങള്‍ മനസ്സിലാക്കിക്കുക എന്ന രീതിയിലുള്ള പ്രവര്‍ത്തനമാണ് ഇതിലൂടെ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുത്. ഈ ലക്ഷ്യത്തിലേയ്ക്ക് ഭാവിയുടെ തലമുറയെ സജ്ജമാക്കനാണണ് കൊല്ലം സിറ്റി പോലീസ് സ്‌കൂള്‍ തലത്തില്‍ “Traffic Club” രൂപീകരണം ആരംഭിച്ചുവരുന്നു.

Why Wear A Safety Helmet?

  • A safety helmet is one of the most important items of personal protective equipment used by motorcycle riders primarily to protect the head against impact.Helmets won't prevent accidents, but they clearly will cut down on deaths and injuries when collisions occur.
  • It should not obstruct vision, impair with hearing, cause skin diseases and increase the probability of neck injuries.
  • It should be light weight.
  • It should have a thick padding of thermocole- at least 20 mm- which must extend to the sides of the head.
  • A full face helmet is safer by all means.
  • It is essential to wear a well-fitting helmet for the effective working of chinstrap system.

Way Use Seat Belt

  • A seat belt sometimes called a safety belt, is a safety harness designed to secure the occupant of a vehicle against harmful movement that may result from a collision or a sudden stop.
  • Seat belts also absorb energy by being designed to stretch during any sudden deceleration.
  • A properly worn seat belt greatly increases your chances of surviving a motor vehicle collision.
  • The shoulder belt should be worn closely against the body and over the shoulder and across the chest, never under the arm. The lap belt should be firm against the body and low across the hips.
  • The lap belt should be worn low so it pulls downward on the pelvic bones and not directly against the abdomen.
